Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for DATACDL purchases processed through Stripe (web) or Google Play Billing (Android). By completing a purchase, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

DATACDL is an independent educational platform. Purchases do not create a government license, permit, official exam result, or guaranteed job or income outcome. Android digital subscriptions use Google Play Billing; web purchases use Stripe where offered.

• Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal.
• Stripe (web) — cancel anytime from Account or the Premium page using the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops future charges; access generally continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Google Play (Android) — Google Play subscriptions are billed and managed by Google Play. Cancel or manage them in Google Play → Subscriptions. DATACDL cannot cancel Google Play subscriptions on your behalf.
• Founding Members receive permanent discounted pricing on eligible Stripe Premium subscriptions as described on the Premium page. Canceling Premium does not remove Founding Member status. Founding Membership does not automatically grant Premium.
• Except where required by law, we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in a Stripe billing period after a subscription charge has been processed.

For Google Play purchases and subscriptions, refunds and cancellations are handled by Google under Google Play's policies. DATACDL cannot issue refunds for Google Play charges. Use Google Play order history or Google Play help to request a refund for a Play Store purchase.

• Founding Membership is a limited, one-time purchase — not a recurring subscription.
• Founding Member status grants permanent pricing benefits on eligible Stripe Premium plans and related platform recognition. It does not by itself include ongoing Premium access.
• Because Founding Membership is a digital product delivered immediately upon payment, all Founding Member sales are generally final. Refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis for duplicate charges, technical errors, or billing mistakes.

If you believe you were charged in error, charged twice, or did not receive the membership you paid for:

• Stripe / Founding Member (web) — contact us promptly with your account email and Stripe receipt. Verified billing errors will be corrected, which may include a refund or account adjustment.
• Google Play — use Google Play order history or Google Play help. DATACDL cannot refund Google Play purchases.

Please contact support@datacdl.com before initiating a payment dispute with your bank for Stripe or Founding Member charges. We will work in good faith to resolve legitimate billing issues. Abuse of chargebacks may result in account suspension. Google Play purchase disputes follow Google's process.

1. Visit Support and choose Billing & Payments.
2. Include your account email, purchase date, and a description of the issue.
3. Attach your Stripe receipt (web) or Google Play order ID (Android) if available.

We aim to respond to billing requests within a reasonable business timeframe.

We may update this Refund Policy as our products or payment flows evolve. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
